Bringing a strong sense of nature.

Windgate House

The existing house is located on a hidden sloping site on Howth Head with panoramic views. The existing layout, with an unused lower floor and poorly laid out upper floor, set a clear brief for the extension and reconfiguration of the house. The high-level triangular gable window frames the canopy of the pine trees, bringing a strong sense of nature. A distinct roof and balcony at the upper level, together with a light, airy space, transform the house and capitalise on the unique location.
